Thurémin is a work for choir, strings and organ. It was written in 2016 and premiered in July in Riga, Latvia, by the Latvian Radio Choir. Two years later it received its American premiere – in New York, at the Musica Viva NY Chorus concert – “Sunrise in the City” . The conductor was Alejandro Hernandez-Valdes, and the programme also included works by Gustav Mahler, Ola Gjelo and Elena Ruer.
