Puissance'et Gloire

Puissance'et Gloire is a song by VLADIMIR COSMA from the soundtrack to the Chateauvallon show. Cosma's got lucky in 1963 being a student of Nadia Boulanger, and later on he got a proposal from Michel Legrand to make musical arrangements for the extremely popular film "Oum le dauphin blanc" (Oum, the White Dolphin). Thus, Cosma entered the film industry, writing music for over 200 films starring Pierre Richard, Gérard Depardieu, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Louis de Funes and many more. Romanian by roots, Cosma uses Romanian folklore or directly processes folk melodies very often. He is also a two-time winner of the Cesar Film Award.
