"Adagio" for Mixed Choir and Vibraphone
About the work
The Adagio for mixed choir and vibraphone was completed in 2016, not long after the large-scale Ninth Symphony. Here, Tabakov assigns an unusual role to the vibraphone, not as a solo instrument, but as a support for the choir.
