Slavonic Dance No.8, Op.46 in G minor

SLAVONIC DANCE No. 8, Op. 46 "FURIANT" (G minor) recreates this fast and passionate Czech dance with frequently changing rhythmic accents. Dvořák also used its stylized form in his Sixth Symphony and in the third movement of the Terzetta for two violins and viola. The dance also inspired Bedřich Smetana as well as Brahms.
