CHILDREN’S PHILHARMONIC CHOIR

The newest ensemble associated to the Sofia Philharmonic, the Children‘s Philharmonic Choir began an active rehearsal process during the 2017/2018 season. Although the choir had its of- ficial introduction on May 24, 2018, it boasts a number of prior appearances – Christmas concerts and a Christmas matinee with the National Philharmonic Choir and the Sofia Philharmop- nic Orchestra; participation in the third edition of I Love Bulgarian Music, par- ticipation in the Third Singing Bulgaria National Choir Enterprise, where the ensemble received a diploma for its par- ticipation and contribution to the fur- therance of choral artistry in The choir members are children and young people between 6 and 19 chil- dren of age and the ensemble features a teenage formation. This also determines the repertory interests of the ensemble classical, popular songs for children, as well as works, oriented to audiences between 13 and 19 years of age.
