Fuyuki Enokido

Fuyuki Enokido is composer and performer of the millennial Japanese instrument koto (Japanese harp) and appointed Ambassador of Cultural Exchange by the Agency of Cultural Affairs of Japan. Born in Tokyo, she learned to play the koto, Japanese traditional instrument, when she was only 3 years old, thanks to her great aunt. When she was 4 she offered her first great performance at the Tokyo National Theatre and it was followed by many concerts in Japan and all over the world. After finishing school, she studied Musicology at the Arts Academy of Tokyo as the best of her year. Her first performance abroad was in New Zealand when she was still a student of ninth year. One year later, she offered several concerts in Germany and in Istanbul the following year. Meanwhile, she has given concerts in more than 30 countries all over the world, she has been granted many awards and she has composed her own pieces. In 2012, she was appointed Ambassador of Cultural Exchange by the Agency of Cultural Affairs of Japan and she offered workshops and concerts in Germany, Australia and England.
