Émile Naoumoff

Émile Naoumoff (b. 1962) studied Composition with Nadia Boulanger, Piano with Gaby Casadessus, K. Karsan and N. Magalov and Conducting with Igor Markevich at the American Conservatoire in Fontainebleau (1971-79). He graduated from the Conservatoire in Paris (1985) and Ecole Normale de Musique (1987) in the conducting class of Dervot.
He made an internationally acclaimed performing carrier. He taught Composition and Chamber Music at the American Conservatoire in Fontainebleau, Piano at the Conservatoire in Paris; he was appointed Artistic Director of the New Summer Music Programme at the Conservatoire of Gargenville. In 1997, he was appointed full professor of Piano and Music Analysis at the University in Bloomington (USA). He gave master classes in Japan, France, USA, Spain, etc. He performed in Europe, USA, Asia, South America. He collaborated with the Schott Music Publishers in Mainz, Germany. He is member of GEMA and SACEM. He is music advisor of the Nadia and Lili Boulanger Association. He won the Robert Casadessus Award, awards for composition of the French Fine Arts Academy, the award of the Nadia and Lili Boulanger Association, etc.
He composed over 60 opuses. His entire work was released on 43 CDs. German music publishers Wego-Schott and Orfeo and Bulgarian recording company Gega New released 52 CDs featuring his performing art.
