Waltraud Winsauer

Austrian alto WALTRAUD WINSAUER received her education at the University of Music and Performing Art in Vienna and was engaged at the Theater an der Wien for eight years. During that time, she participated in three world tours with the Vienna Academy Chamber Choir. Following that, she came to the Vienna State Opera, where she worked as a soloist for thirty three years, incidentally participating in several roles at the Vienna Volksoper. During this time she sang at the Salzburg and Bregenz Festivals. As a concert singer, she appeared for performance at numerous concerts in Germany and abroad and was involved in the release of various recordings.
