Biography
The young Italian tenor VALERIO BORGIONI was born in Rome in 1997. He studies singing at Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome, under the guide of the tenor M° Claudio Di Segni. Valerio Borgioni has won a number of singing competitions, among which stands out AsLiCo (2020), thanks to it he debuted the role of Werther at the Massenet’s eponymous opera in Teatro Sociale in Como. Since 2021 Borgioni has sung in a number of major opera houses, including Teatro Lirico - Cagliari, Sofia Opera and Ballet, Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, Sydney Opera House and the Rossini Opera Festival, performing the principal tenor roles in L'amico Fritz, L'elisir d'amore, The Woman of the Lake, Il viaggio a Reims, La fille du Régiment, Werther, Maria Stuarda, La Boheme, and La Traviata. He has worked under such distinguished conductors as Renato Palumbo, Giampaolo Bisanti, Frédéric Chaslin and Valerio Talli.
