During these years he played in several philharmonic and opera orchestras in Bulgaria. His solo performance career began in 2010. He made his debut with the role of the Duke from Verdi's Rigoletto at the opera in Craiova, Romania. Since 2012 he has been a soloist of the State Opera - Varna and the State Opera - Burgas. For 11 years he has managed to perform almost the entire central tenor repertoire in the productions of both opera houses. He has performed in all opera theatres and festivals in Bulgaria, including appearances with the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra and the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra, recording with them. He has toured to a number of European venues as well as Japan, China and South Korea. He has worked with conductors such as Boris Khinchev, Ruslan Raichev, Mihail Angelov, Borislav Ivanov, Georgi Dimitrov, Ivan Kozhuharov, Ivan Angelov, Nayden Todorov, Grigor Palikarov, Emil Tabakov, Jose Cura, Felix Bender, Garcia Calvo, Aldo Sizillo, etc. In 2014 he won an award at the Viva Verdi Competition in Sofia. Two years later, at the Bellinzona Festival in Switzerland (2016), the world-famous soprano Catia Richerelli entrusted him with the role of Calaf from Puccini's Оpera Turandot and predicted a brilliant future for him. This was followed by several performances at prestigious festivals in Italy and Switzerland. After his participation in one of the performances of Richard Strauss's opera Der Rosenkavalier in Chemnitz - Germany, the former director of the Wiener Staatsoper and impresario Johann Hollender, personally congratulated him by saying that it is an honour for any large opera theatre to have such a tenor for such a difficult part. José Cura says of the talented singer, Working with Valeriy Georgiev as De Greio (from Puccini's Manon Lescaut) was an unexpected surprise. His voice is solid and well-trained, and he is also an accomplished musician, making it very easy for the conductor to work with him.
