Tomas Gregurek

Biography
Bc. Tomáš Gregůrek, DiS., is a respected Czech arts administrator and cultural leader with nearly two decades of experience in orchestral management and concert production. His career reflects steady professional growth within leading Czech musical institutions, culminating in his appointment as Director of one of the country’s prominent symphony orchestras.
He began his professional career at the Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK, working in the Orchestra Office from 2005 to 2006. From 2006 to 2008, he served as Head of the Orchestra Office, gaining valuable experience in artistic planning, institutional coordination, and orchestral operations.
In 2008, he joined the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Orchestra, where he worked until 2024 as Orchestra Manager and Head of the Concert Department. In this capacity, he was responsible for concert planning, artistic coordination, production management, and the strategic development of the orchestra’s activities. In 2025, he was appointed Director of the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Orchestra, marking a new chapter in his leadership career.
Tomáš Gregůrek received his musical education at the P. J. Vejvanovský Conservatory (1998–2002), where he studied violin. He continued his studies at the Prague Conservatory (2002–2004), further refining his musical training. Between 2020 and 2023, he expanded his academic profile at the Jagiellonian University in Toruń, strengthening his broader educational and professional background.
Through his combination of artistic education and long-term managerial experience, Bc. Tomáš Gregůrek, DiS., stands as a key figure in contemporary Czech orchestral life.
