Svetlin Hristov

SVETLIN HRISTOV was born in 1991 in Sofia, studied piano at the Prof. Veselin Stoyanov National School of Music in Ruse, Bulgaria in the piano class of the renowned pedagogue Evgeni Zhelyazkov. He majored in piano, composing and conducting at the Prof. Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music. He specialized in piano at the Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory. He has participated in master classes of  Evgeni Bozhanov, Ludmil Angelov, Bozhidar Noev, Maria Gambaryan, Pavel Egorov, Mamiko Sudha, Natalia Deeva. He has won prizes at the Franz Schubert (Ruse), Chopin (Varna), Carl Filtsch (Sibiu, Romania), Scriabin-Rachmaninoff (Sofia), Classics and Modernity (Stara Zagora) competitions, etc. He frequently performs as a pianist, chamber musician and conductor. His original compositions have been performed in Bulgaria, Croatia and Russia.
