Sophia Joo

Sophia Joó is a young conductor from the United States of America, currently working as a violinist in the Simfonieta - Vratsa. As a Filipino-Hungarian, Sophiа is passionate about pushing boundaries with her work, whether it be through conducting, chamber music, or helping out behind-the-scenes for productions. Her journey in music started with piano lessons from the young age of 4, and since then has spanned across areas such as theater, choir, orchestra, chamber music, and more. Sophia hopes to always be expanding her musical breadth and depth by exploring the creative ideas of those from all backgrounds and walks of life.
