Biography
Born in September 2013, Sherry Tse began violin studies at age four. Her extraordinary trajectory includes attaining the ABRSM Grade 8 violin certification with Distinction at seven, earning a scholarship to the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and acceptance at age ten into the prestigious High-Level Master Classes at Switzerland’s Tiziano Rossetti International Music Academy under Professor Robert Canetti. Currently pursuing her College Artistic Diploma, Sherry has already completed the Artistic Junior Diploma.
Sherry made her orchestral debut performing Mozart at age eight. Since then, she has graced stages including Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Vienna’s Musikverein Golden Hall, Budapest’s Liszt Academy, Prague's Rudolfinum, Salzburg’s Mozarteum, Saigon Opera House, Hong Kong Cultural Center,...etc. She has collaborated with eminent ensembles such as the Sofia Philharmonic, Savaria Symphony Orchestra, Hungarian State Symphony Orchestra of Szolnok, Saigon Philharmonic, Hong Kong Philharmonic, and North Czech Philharmonic..., working with conductors including Ernest Hoetzl, Nayden Todorov, Daniel Geiss, Massimo Belli.
Her trophy cabinet gleams with top honors: First Absolute Prize at the 5th Tiziano Rossetti International Music Competition (Switzerland), First Prize at the 2024 Beethoven Young Musician Competition (Vienna), Gold Prize and "Best String Player" at the Amadeus International Music Awards (Salzburg), First Prize at the London Classical Music Competition, and victories at the American International Music Competition (Cleveland 2024), International BTHVN Wien Competition, and New York Golden Classical Music Awards (with Exceptional Young Talent Special Prize).
