Sergei Dogadin

SERGEI DOGADIN is among the elite performers on the international stage. He has collaborated with orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Munich Philharmonic, NDR Radiophilharmonie, the symphony orchestras of Budapest, Shanghai, Berlin, Taipei, Singapore, Western Australia, and St. Petersburg, as well as the English Chamber Orchestra, the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, and Kremerata Baltica.He has worked with renowned conductors including Yuri Temirkanov, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Thomas Sanderling, Vasily Petrenko, Klaus Mäkelä, Andrew Manze, Shlomo Mintz, Anu Tali, Muhai Tang, Ken Takaseki, Saulius Sondeckis, Nicholas Carter, and Michal Nesterowicz. Dogadin has received major international distinctions at prestigious competitions: First Prize at the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition (2019), the Audience Award at the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition (2011), and First Prize at the IX International Joseph Joachim Violin Competition (2015). These honors have brought him both prestige and significant momentum in his career. In the 2025/26 season, he will appear as a soloist with the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra, following his brilliant debut last season. He will embark on a third tour with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Barcelona y Nacional de Cataluña, performing Juli Garreta’s Violin Concerto, and will continue his collaboration with the Balearic Islands Symphony Orchestra. During the summer, he will present recital tours at leading European festivals together with Daniil Trifonov. As a chamber musician, he collaborates with Elisabeth Leonskaja, Narek Hakhnazaryan, Andreas Ottensamer, and Daniil Trifonov. His performances have been broadcast by Mezzo (France), Medici.tv, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), WDR and NDR Kultur (Germany), YLE Radio (Finland), NHK (Japan), and the BBC (United Kingdom). Dogadin is a graduate of the St. Petersburg Conservatory, where he studied with Prof. Vladimir Ovcharek. He continued his studies at the Cologne University of Music with Prof. Mihaela Martin, and at the University of Music in Graz and the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with Prof. Boris Kushnir. Since 2022, Dogadin has served as professor at the Centro Superior Katarina Gurska in Madrid, Spain. He has performed on violins once owned by Niccolò Paganini and Johann Strauss.
