Rositsa Pavlova-Indzheva

ROSITSA PAVLOVA-INDZEVA (b. 1973), mezzo-soprano, graduated from the Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music (2000) in the class of  Irena Brumbarova and specialised at the Boris Christoff Academy in Rome under the direction of Anita Cercuetti (2001). She won prizes and awards at the Georgi Zlatev-Cherkin (1997), Svetoslav Obretenov (1998) and Hristo Brumbarov (2001) competitions.

She made her debut on the stage of the Sofia Opera in the role of Hansel (Hansel and Gretel by Humperdinck) in 1998. Since then he has portrayed the characters of  Cherubino (The Marriage of Figaro), Zibel (Faust), Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz) , Pinocchio from the opera of the same name by Al. Yossifov, Stefano (Romeo and Juliet by Gounod), Dorabella (Così fan tutte by Mozart), etc.

She has performed chamber concerts; she has been a soloist in concerts of the Ensemble for Electroacoustic Music, the Bulgarian National Radio Big Band, the Sofia Philharmonic, as a performer in oratorios. Andreev’s Oratorio Prayer, Requiem by Mozart. He was a guest at the International Festival “Sofia Music Weeks” with a concert performance of  Handel’s opera Amadigi di Gaula (2003). She has recorded with the National Radio Symphony Orchestra. Since 2013 she has been singing in the National Philharmonic Choir, and in 2014 she co-founded the women’s vocal formation “Bella Voce”, specializing in solo and ensemble chamber works.
