Peter Lake

Praised by the Houston Press for how he “…amazes with a clarion tenor that has the reedy projection of superstar-from-yore Jan Peerce.” Peter Lake is an internationally performing lyric-tenor who performed Rodolfo in La bohème and debuted in Michael Ching’s A Royal Feast as Ramiro in August 2021 at the Savannah VOICE Festival. In the fall of 2021 Peter performed Don José in Mobile Opera’s Carmen and debuted an original cabaret celebrating the music of Mario Lanza with Opera Mississippi. This summer Peter will make his debut with the Timberlake Playhouse as Tito Mirelli in their production of Lend Me a Tenor, he will sing Alfredo in a return to Opera North in their La traviata, and in a double bill of Michael Ching’s original operas Alice Riley/Anna Hunter and additionally remounting his original Mario Lanza cabaret with Savannah VOICE Festival.
