Otis Enokido-Lineham

Otis Enokido-Lineham is a British conductor whose career combines opera, contemporary music and symphonic repertoire, with a particular interest in immersive performance and cross-disciplinary collaboration. His recent and upcoming engagements reflect an increasingly international trajectory. 

In 2026 he makes debuts with the Orchestra Sinfonica della Città Metropolitana di Bari, Cambridge Philharmonic and St Albans Symphony Orchestra, while returning to Divertimento Ensemble, the University of London Symphony Orchestra, the National Youth Orchestra and the Menuhin Chamber Orchestra. In February 2026 he leads Haroon Mirza’s new immersive performance project at Art Basel’s first Doha edition, and in summer 2026 serves as Assistant Conductor for Un Ballo in Maschera at Opera Holland Park, alongside a return to the St Endellion Festival for Britten’s War Requiem. 

Recent highlights include Associate Conductor for English Touring Opera (Autumn 2025), assistant conductor for Eugene Onegin with Wild Arts Opera, and assistant to Paul Daniel at the St Endellion Festival (Falstaff). In 2025 he was a finalist at the Khachaturian International Conducting Competition and Joint First Prize winner at the Città di Brescia Giancarlo Facchinetti Conducting Competition. He previously served as Assistant Conductor for the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (2022/23 season). 

He has collaborated with ensembles including the London Sinfonietta, the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra. His work at the Aldeburgh Festival has included Britten’s Curlew River with Ian Bostridge and Sir Willard White. 

A graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music (BMus Hons, Cello) and the Royal Academy of Music (MMus in Orchestral Conducting, Distinction), where he studied with Sian Edwards, he was awarded both the Conducting Prize and the Regency Award for outstanding performance. His artistic research has focused on immersive performance and cross-arts collaboration.
