Born in Greece in 1999, Maria Bazou belongs to the new generation of European conductors. Her professional path unfolds between Athens, Krakow, and the international concert stage, where she has built a reputation as a musician of analytical clarity and emotional intensity.
She is currently in the second year of her Master’s degree in Orchestral Conducting at the Academy of Music in Krakow under the guidance of Professor Rafał Delekta. At the same time, she is a senior student at the Department of Music of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

In 2025, she received her Diploma in Orchestral Conducting with distinction and First Prize in the class of Maestro Michalis Economou at the Athens Conservatoire.
