Kapka Naydenova

KAPKA NAYDENOVA was born in Sofia in 1959. She graduated from the Lyubomir Pipkov National Music School and the Prof. Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music with a MA degree with a major in piano. She has also specialized in organ, harpsichord, celesta and other keyboard instruments. She has won international awards. She has been a leader of ensembles, a corpettist at the National Opera and Ballet, the Opera Theatre at the Prof. Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music, Bulgarian Choir Chapel, Slavonic Sounds Choir, Choir of Sofia Maidens, etc. She regularly collaborates with the Vidin, Vratsa and Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestras, participates in international seminars and projects and studio recordings, and has also made stage appearances as a soloist. Since 1976 she has been a accompanist, currently a senior lecturer at the Department of Conducting and Composition of the National Academy of Music. She is also a professor at the Prof. Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music.
