Jung Eun Lee

Soloist, Concertino of the Orpheus Soloists ensemble, Head of the String & Chamber Music Department of the St George International Music Festival & Academy and artistic curator of the Orpheus Soloists Music Competition.
The award-winning violinist Jung Eun Lee has established herself internationally as a soloist including in her career collaborations with Sir N. Marriner, Ch. Hogwood, Ch. W. Green, Ph. Entremont, V. Jordania, Ch. Henkel, S. Numata, M. Asteriadou, M. Spangenberg, and the ensembles Seoul Philharmonic, Yonsei Chamber Orchestra, Kharkiv Philharmonic, Schaffhausen Kammerorchester, Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra.
She has appeared at the international festivals of Aberdeen, Luzern-Basel, Marseille, Trossingen, Dimitria, Cyclades, and at Glazunov Concert Hall, Hermitage, Alexander Theater, Thessaloniki & Athens Concert Hall, Musikverein, Theatre Lyrique Clermont-Ferrand.
She has recorded W.A.Mozart's Concerto Nr.3 with Seoul Philharmonic for MBC.
Jung Eun Lee teaches at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki, the New Conservatory of Thessaloniki and the Summer Academy of the St George International Music Festival & Academy. With her many years of teaching experience and guidance, her students have received prizes in violin competitions in Greece and abroad.
Jung Eun Lee studied at Yonsei University in Seoul, at the Rimsky Korsakov Academy in St. Petersburg. St. Petersburg and the Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen.
She plays with a violin by Italian manufacturer Giuseppe Dall'Aglio of 1827.
