Ivaylo Donkov

IVAYLO DONKOV was born in Varna in 1985. He studied at the local school for children with visual impairment and completed his secondary education at the National School of Arts in his native town. In the period 2005-2010 studied at the National Academy of Music in Sofia, graduating with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in classi- cal singing in the class of Prof. Blagovesta Karnobatlova-Dobreva, and from 2010 to 2011 took specialized studies in chamber music in the class of Prof. Blagovesta Konstantinova. In 2013 won the music format of the Bulgarian television station bTV „The Voice of Bulgaria“. From 2008 he has been engaged in an intensive routine of study and interpretation of baroque singing, building up an extensive concert practice in Sofia and the country. Since 2015 is a member- artist of the National Philharmonic Choir.
