Ivar Arseev

Ivar Arseyev (1937–2012) was a Russian composer and pianist. In 1959, he graduated the Moscow Conservatory, where he studied piano with Grigory R Ginzburg and composition with Anatoly Aleksandrov. In 1961-1964, he worked as research fellow of the Glinka Central Museum of Musical Culture, and in 1964-1966 was editor of the main edition of the Symphony Division All-Union Radio. In the last years of his life he taught composition to children in the Moscow music schools.
