Biography

HILDA GULYÁSOVÁ is a graduate of the Bratislava Conservatory, where she studied singing with Prof. J. Billova and Church music with Prof. D. Bill and Prof. Reiffers. Later she studied musicology at the Komensky University in Bratislava and Catholic theology at the University of Trnava. After completing her studies she focused her attention on the interpretation of sacred music from all epochs. She has participated as a soloist in many festivals – Bratislava Music Weeks Festival, Days of Early Music, Convergence, Trnavian Music Spring, Musica Sacra Nitra, International Gregorian Chant Festival, International Baroque Music Festival – Barok na Mazurach, Epoché 2016, Pohoda Festival, She has engaged in regular concert activity withsuchensemblesas Solamente naturali, Musica Aeterna, Collegium Wartberg, Il Cuore Barocco, Sinfonietta dell Arte. Her activity is associated mainly with the Franciscan school and Schola Minor of the Franciscan Church in Bratislava and is aimed at reviving the heritage of the musical heritage of the Franciscan composers. Currently, she teaches at the Bratislava Conservatoire ecclesiastical music and singing.
