GIRGINA GIRGINOVA was born in Sofia and her journey in music began from the Bulgarian National Radio Children’s Choir. As a chorister and soloist in the ensemble, she concertized in Europe, USA and Japan. In 2004, Girginova received her diploma from the National Academy of Music Sofia in the vocal class of Prof. Mila Dyulgerova. Refined her vocal skills in the master classes of Nadezhda Kniplova (2003), Anna Tomova-Syntov (2006), Rayna Kabaivanska (2010) and Darina Takova (2010, 2017, 2018). Laureate of a number of the Gena Dimitrova competitions: National competition, Pleven (2006); the Lyubomir Pipkov Academic competition (2004) and the Parashkev Hadzhiev Academic Competition (2013); First Prize and the Handel Society in Bulgaria Award from the International competition The Euterpe Rose of Karlovo, Bulgaria (2013).

Girginova made her debut on the opera stage in 2003 in Gian Carlo Menotti’s one-act opera The Telephone. In 2007 – 2018 served as artist-soloist in the State Opera House of Russe, with parts in over twenty opera and operettas performed on that stage. At the same time, she maintains considerable repertoire in the genre of cantata and chamber music. Since 2009 she has been regular collaborator in the concerts of the Bach Society of Bulgaria – she has performed the soprano parts in sacred music by Bach and Handel. Currently taking her doctor studies at the National Academy of Music Sofia.
