GHEORGHI ARNAOUDOV has established himself as one of the most performed contemporary Bulgarian composers, with premieres in global centers such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Wigmore Hall and Royal Festival Hall in London, St. John Smith Hall in Westminster, Santa Cecilia in Rome, Concerthaus - Vienna, Beijing Concert Hall in Beijing and others, numerous recordings released by Naxos of America, Concord Records and Labor Records - USA, Holophon Records - Austria, Gega New, also included in sound anthologies of 20^th and 21^st century music. Author of dozens of symphonic, concert, chamber, vocal and keyboard works and music for theatre and ballet productions, Gheorghi Arnaoudov attracts the interest of performers, audiences and researchers with his particular suggestion of a new musical spirituality, his search for different types of sonic substance inspired by a wide range of authentic primal supports. His Circle of Ritual on Sanskrit texts, Kyrie Eleison in Latin, the passio on Psalms of David, Thiepoleo - Orphic Mystery Rituals, the Concierto Barroco on Alejo Carpentier, the symphonic Blachernae, the imposing series of various instrumental concertos, the triple concerto Baroqus ex Machina, The Gates of Dream after Lorca and many others, are among the most unique works of our musical times. A personality with a marked affinity for philosophical reflection, a doctor of musicology, Gheorghi Arnaoudov is also the author of in-depth articles on various aspects of musical phenomena. He was born into a family of musicians - his father Assen Arnaoudov was one of the founders of the Royal Symphony Orchestra, professor of harp at the Bulgarian State Conservatory, and his mother Suzanna Vesselinova-Arnaoudova was a famous chamber singer. He graduated from the Prof. Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music in the class of prof. Alexander Tanev in 1985. While attending the Musical Academy, he also attended the courses for composers at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, as well as summer courses with Brian Ferneyhough, Ton de Leeuw and Bojidar Spasov. Since 1983 he has been a lecturer at the Lyubomir Pipkov National Music Academy, since 2000 he has been a lecturer at the New Bulgarian University. He is a professor of Composition and Age, Golden Quill, Musician of the Year (2018), Golden Staves, Carl Maria von Weber International Prize of Music, the Grand Prize of the Organization of European Radio Stations, etc.
