Geert Van Keulen

Geert van Keulen (b. 1943) is a Dutch composer, conductor and clarinettist. He studied clarinet, composition and conducting at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Van Keulen worked as bass clarinet player in the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra from 1966 to 2006. He was also a member of the Netherlands Wind Ensemble until 1988. He is active as a conductor and organizer, and from 1978 to 1995, he taught composition and instrumentation at the Conservatory of Amsterdam.
