Biography

EVA PERCHEMLIEVA (b. 1981) graduated from Prof. Pancho Vladigerov Music High School, Burgas and Prof. Pancho Vladigerov National Music Academy. She is a laureate of Young Musical Talents (Sofia), Puldin (Plovdiv), New Voices (National Opera and Ballet), Rose of Euterpe (Karlovo) and Bach Society in Bulgaria. She has participated in master classes of Ghena Dimitrova, Anna Tomowa-Sintow, Darina Takova, etc. In 2006 she made her stage debut as Nanetta in Verdi's Falstaff at the A.B. Solovyanenko in Donetsk (Ukraine), conducted by Vadin Münster (Germany) and directed by Alexander Lebedev (St. Petersburg). He has performed the same role in Switzerland and Germany. The following years she sang the roles of Donna Anna from Mozart's Don Giovanni, Rosina from Rossini's The Barber of Seville, Adina from Donizetti's Love Potion. In 2012 she performed the roles of Violetta in Verdi's La Traviata in Venice with conductor Martin Panteleev and Lucy from Menotti's The Telephone under the baton of Mikis Michaelides. Next came the roles of Alice in Verdi's Falstaff, conducted by Stefano Seghedoni, and the Queen of the Night in children's performances of Mozart's The Magic Flute at the National Opera and Ballet. She has been a soloist in concerts of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Madrid conducted by Martin Panteleev. In 2018-2019 she participated in the "Tempi diversi" cycle in a duo with pianist Galina Apostolova and in a concert with songs by H. Berlioz as a soloist of the Rousse Opera. She has given concerts at the Prof. Ivan Spasov Winter Music Evenings - Pazardzhik and Konstantin Iliev Chamber Music Week in Dobrich. She participated in the performances of Kamen Donev "The views of a teacher on folk art" and "The views of a teacher on folk education". She has also been invited to perform as a soloist in Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Germany and Great Britain. In 2023, she sang the role of Maria Callas in the world premiere of the opera-musical Callas and Onassis by Christos Papageorgiou on the stage of Varna Opera House, in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture, and at the National Albanian Opera in Tirana. As of 2019 she is an Assoc. Professor at the Prof. Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music.
