DAVIDE RYU is a graduate of the Daegu Art University and the Keimyung Uni- versity. In 2015 specialized in Italy at the Conservatorio “O.Vecchi-A.Tonelli“ of Modena; the Giuseppe Verdi Conserva- tory in Milano; at the Scuola Comunale di Musica “F. A. Valletti” in Vercelli and the Chigiana International Academy in Siena (2015, 2016) under the guidance of Raina Kabaivanska. Winner of prize awards from internatio- nal competitions including: “Valsesia Mu- sica“ (first prize); “Fiorenza Kosoto“ (first prize); “Alfredo Giacometti“ (first prize); “Ismaele Voltolini“ (first prize); “Coop Music Awards“ (second prize); “Cristina Trivulzio di Belgiojoso“ (second prize); “Maria Caniglia“ (third prize); “Carlo“ Zampighi (third prize) and “Gaetano Fraschini“ (third prize). Participated in opera productions in Italy and Bulgaria. Appeared on stage in the role of Pinkerton from Madama Butterfly in Mantua (2015), Vercelli and Balmuccia (2016); played Turrido from Cav- alleria Rusticana in Milan and Piacenza (2016, 2017). In Sofia he appeared in the role of Calaf from Turandot (2016) and as Pollione from Norma (2017). His appearances in the present 2018 are in the roles from Il Trovatore in Bitonto and of Cavaradossi from Tosca in Vercelli.
