Armando Guevara Ochoa

Armando Guevara Ochoa (1926–2013) is a Peruvian composer, violinist and conductor, born in Cusco in 1926. He was a student at the Columbia University and later he studied composition with Nadia Boulanger in Paris. His work continues the national music traditions, closely connected with the native folklore. He died January 14, 2013 in Lima.
