Biography
Adelina Galova was born in 1988 in Sofia. She has been involved in music since early childhood. For ten years she was part of the Bulgarian National Radio Children's Choir, with which she performed as a chorister and soloist on numerous stages in Bulgaria and abroad. From 2007 to 2015 she studied at the Prof. Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music, in the class of prof. Mila Dyulgerova, and in 2019 she obtained a PhD in Musicology and Musical Art - Classical Singing. During her studies she actively participated in the master classes of Anna Tomowa-Sintow, Danja Veikovic, Luciana d'Intino, Fiorenza Cossotto. In 2013 she won a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and the Boris Christoff Foundation, and joined the opera studios of the Accademia Santa Cecilia, Rome, where she specialized with Renata Scotto. In 2015 she specialized at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, in the class of Christina Rubino. Since 2016 she has been a student of Darina Takova and has gone through various courses and master perfection trainings organized by Darina Takova Foundation. She has participated as a soloist in numerous concerts and opera productions at home and abroad. For many years the singer performed charity concerts for the Donka Paprikova Hospice and the Silver Autumn Old People's Club, which awarded her with an honorary diploma for charity work. For two years she was a cleric singer (psalter) at the Bulgarian Orthodox Church "St. Ambrose of Medellan", in Milan, and in 2016 she sang at the first Eastern Orthodox Mass celebrated at the Catholic Cathedral of San Marco in Venice. In the same year she was awarded a diploma for special services to the Diocesan Church. Since 2017, Adelina Galova has been a member of the National Philharmonic Choir.
